A Multi-Step Approach to Creating Healthier Spaces

Surface Disinfection

Surface disinfection is a process of applying products on surfaces of an environment to kill bacteria, virus, mildew, mold, and fungus. There are two types of surface disinfection: hard surface and soft porous surface. The goal is the same for disinfecting both types of surfaces, although the methods and products may vary. High-touch surfaces such as light switches, door handles, water faucets, rails, and other frequently touched items also cause cross-contamination and transmission of pathogens and must be disinfected.

Cross Contamination

Microorganisms, like germs, are everywhere, and no more so than on our hands and clothing. Contaminated hands and clothing may cause cross-contamination allowing bacteria and viruses to be left on everything that we touch or come into contact with. Routine cleaning and disinfecting of these items are critical to breaking the chain of cross-contamination and creating clean, safe and healthy environments.

Air & Water Purification

Beyond spraying and disinfecting on direct surfaces, the use of highly effective air and water purification processes will complete the process and provide all that is needed for the ultimate clean, safe, and germ-free environment. Minimizing the transmission of airborne contaminants is key to creating healthier environments and the use of germicidal UVC technology provides a cost-effective and efficient method to disinfect the air with no byproducts and no hazardous waste. Remember that whatever is in the air will eventually fall to the surface.
